Cookie Policy

Last Updated: January 12, 2026

Flynk11 Ltd ("Flynk11", "we", "us" or "our") operates an AI blog generator platform based in the UK and serving users globally. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our platform (the "Service"). We aim to comply with all applicable cookie regulations, including the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and international equivalents, ensuring that your privacy and cookie preferences are respected. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Cookie Policy. If you have any questions, please refer to the Contact Us section at the end of this Policy.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, smartphone, or other device when you visit a website. These files allow a website to recognize your device and store information about your preferences or past actions. Cookies serve various purposes, such as keeping you logged in, remembering your site settings, and helping website owners understand how people use their site.

Cookies can be "Session" cookies or "Persistent" cookies:

  • Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that remain on your device only while your browser is open. They are erased once you close your browser.
  • Persistent Cookies: Long-lasting cookies that stay on your device for a set period or until you manually delete them. Persistent cookies remember you on return visits, making your experience smoother (for example, by recalling your login or preferences).

Cookies themselves typically do not contain personally identifiable information, but they may be linked to personal data that we or our partners store elsewhere. In the next sections, we explain how and why we use cookies on our Service.

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for several reasons, all intended to enhance and secure your experience on our platform. The cookies we use fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies (Essential): These cookies are essential for the operation of our Service and to use its core features. Without these, services you have asked for (such as logging in or adding content to your blog) cannot be provided. We do not require consent for essential cookies.
  • Functional Cookies: These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization on our platform. They may remember your preferences (like language or interface settings) and other convenient features to improve your experience. If you disable these, some functionalities (for example, remembering your editing preferences) may not work properly.
  • Analytics Cookies: These cookies help us understand how visitors use our Service and enable us to improve it. They allow us to count visits, track usage patterns, and identify errors. For example, we use analytics cookies to see which blog generator features are most popular or to detect general usage trends on our site. We do not set analytics cookies without your consent (where required by law). If you choose not to allow these cookies, we will respect your choice – our site will still function, but our ability to analyze and improve performance will be limited.

We do not use advertising or targeting cookies on our platform at this time (no third-party ads are served via our Service). Should this change in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain any necessary consents.

Cookies We Use and Why

Below is a detailed list of the specific cookies that our Service uses, along with their purpose and duration. We have included first-party cookies set by Flynk11 as well as third-party cookies set by our trusted service providers:

Cookie NamePurpose & CategoryProviderDuration
__client (essential)Used for secure user authentication – it stores a long-lived session token so you remain logged in across visits. Essential for account access (cannot be disabled without logging you out).Clerk (Authentication service)Persistent (long-lived; remains until you sign out or a set maximum duration, e.g. several months).
__client_uat (essential)"Updated At" cookie to help determine if your session is still valid. It updates whenever your session changes, ensuring our system knows you are actively using the Service.Clerk (Authentication service)Persistent (updated periodically to track session activity).
__session (essential)A short-lived session cookie containing a token (JWT) to validate requests while you are signed in. It works with __client to keep you securely logged in.Clerk (Authentication service)Session (expires very quickly, in about 60 seconds, and is continuously refreshed while you remain logged in).
_ga (analytics)Google Analytics cookie used to distinguish unique users by assigning a random ID. Helps us count how many different people visit our platform and how they use it over time. We only set this cookie if you opt-in to analytics.Google AnalyticsPersistent (2 years).
_gid (analytics)Google Analytics cookie used to distinguish users within a single session. It groups user activity together for each day, helping us analyze daily usage. Set only if you opt-in.Google AnalyticsPersistent (24 hours).
_gat (analytics)Google Analytics cookie used to throttle request rate. It limits the amount of data collected on high-traffic sites, preventing performance issues. Set only if you opt-in.Google AnalyticsPersistent (1 minute).
cookieConsent (essential)Remembers your cookie preferences (the choices you make on our cookie consent banner). Ensures that we don't repeatedly ask for your consent and that we honor your settings (e.g. whether you allowed analytics cookies).Flynk11 (First-party)Persistent (typically 12 months).

Notes:

  • The Clerk authentication cookies (__client, __client_uat, __session) are strictly necessary for our Service to function securely. They do not store personal information like your name or email in plaintext. Instead, they contain encrypted tokens/IDs needed to keep you logged in and protect your account. These cookies cannot be disabled via our cookie consent tool because they are essential for security and user login. If you block them, you will not be able to log in or use account features.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) are analytics cookies used to collect information about how our Service is used (such as which pages are visited, how long users stay, and any errors encountered). We use this data to improve our platform's performance and features. These cookies will only be set if you have given us consent through the cookie banner or settings. We also configure Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses where applicable, to further protect your privacy. Google may generate additional analytics cookies or use similar technologies as they update their services; we will update our list as needed to reflect any material changes.

Third-Party Cookies and Services

Our platform relies on a couple of third-party services which set cookies as described above. Specifically:

  • Clerk: We use Clerk for user authentication (managing user signup, login, and account sessions). Clerk sets the essential cookies listed above (__client, __client_uat, __session) to keep you securely logged in across our domain and Clerk's domain. These are considered first-party to our Service in practice (as they are required for core functionality), but they technically come from Clerk's domain. For more details on how Clerk handles data and cookies, you can review Clerk's Privacy Policy (available on Clerk's official website). Clerk's cookies are set with security in mind (HttpOnly and SameSite attributes) and are used solely for authentication purposes, not for tracking your activities across other sites.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to gather anonymized statistical information about our site usage. When enabled by user consent, Google Analytics cookies collect information such as your device type, browser, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This helps us understand user interactions and improve our Service over time. These analytics cookies do not personally identify you; they generate aggregated data. Google may also set or read cookies for services like Google Tag Manager or Google's own preferences. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy. Google also offers an opt-out mechanism for analytics (such as the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on) if you wish to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data in any context.

Other than Clerk and Google Analytics, we do not intentionally use cookies from other third parties on our platform. In the event we integrate additional third-party services that set cookies (for example, for video playback, payment processing, or security/CDN services), we will update this policy to inform you and provide links to the relevant third-party privacy policies. Any third-party cookies would also be subject to user consent where required by law.

User Consent and Your Choices

Consent for Non-Essential Cookies: Under UK and EU law (and similar laws in other jurisdictions), we are required to obtain your explicit permission (consent) before setting any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of our website. This means that on your first visit to our platform (and periodically thereafter), you will see a cookie consent banner or pop-up. This banner allows you to choose which categories of cookies you are willing to accept. We will not set analytics or other non-essential cookies unless and until you have opted-in via this banner (or via your cookie settings on our site).

  • If you Accept All Cookies, you are consenting to our use of all cookies, including analytics cookies, as described in this Policy.
  • If you Reject or Decline non-essential cookies (or choose "Necessary Only" if that option is provided), we will not set any analytics or other optional cookies on your device. The site will still function with essential cookies only.
  • You may also Customize/Manage your cookie preferences on the banner, selecting specific categories (for example, you might allow functional cookies but not analytics). Our system will remember your choices through a consent cookie (cookieConsent) as noted above, so you won't be repeatedly asked on each visit (until the consent cookie expires or if our policy changes).

You have the right to change or withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, you can find a "Cookie Settings" or "Manage Cookies" link on our website (typically in the footer or in your account settings). By clicking that link, you can re-open the consent preferences and adjust which cookies you allow. Any changes you make will be applied immediately (for example, if you disable analytics cookies after previously accepting them, our site will stop using them and remove any existing analytics cookies where feasible).

Implications of Denying Consent: If you choose not to allow certain cookies, please note that some features of our Service might be affected. For instance, if you disable functional cookies, preferences (like your chosen language or UI customizations) may not be saved. We will never deny you access to our Service if you refuse optional cookies; at most, your experience might be a bit less tailored. Under no circumstances will essential cookies (those needed for security, authentication, and basic functionality) be disabled based on user preference, since doing so would break the Service you expect to receive (e.g. you cannot log in without authentication cookies). However, you can always control or delete these essential cookies via your browser settings (though doing so will log you out or might degrade service security).

Global Considerations: Our approach to cookie consent is designed to meet the strictest requirements (GDPR and UK privacy laws). If you are located in a region outside the UK/EU where explicit opt-in consent is not mandatory, please be aware that we still provide you with granular control over cookies. We believe in transparency and respecting your privacy choices. In some jurisdictions (e.g. certain U.S. states), you have the right to opt-out rather than opt-in. We endeavor to honor such preferences in a compliant manner. For example, if you have enabled a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal or a global privacy control in your browser, we will treat that as a opt-out of non-essential cookies where legally required.

According to best practices and regulations, we maintain a record of users' cookie consents. This record includes what you consented to and when, which helps us demonstrate compliance and also ensures we adhere to your choices.

Managing Cookies: How You Can Control Them

In addition to using our on-site preferences, you have the ability to control and delete cookies manually through your web browser settings. Each browser provides tools to allow, block, or delete cookies. Below are links to instructions for managing cookie settings in some of the major browsers:

  • Google Chrome: See Google's official guide on managing cookies in Chrome – you can delete existing cookies, allow or block all cookies, or set preferences for certain websites. Chrome's settings (under Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data) let you toggle whether to allow all cookies, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies.
  • Mozilla Firefox: See Mozilla's guide on cookies and site data in Firefox – you can manage cookies under Options/Preferences > Privacy & Security in Firefox. For example, you can choose to "Accept cookies and site data" or block cookies, and you can specify exceptions for certain websites. Firefox also allows you to clear cookies and site data at any time, or even set them to be cleared automatically when you close the browser.
  • Microsoft Edge: See Microsoft's instructions on enabling cookies in Edge – in Edge, go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions (or Advanced settings in older versions) and ensure that the option "Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)" is turned on. To block cookies in Edge, you can toggle off that option or set Edge to block third-party cookies. You can also clear cookies via Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data, where you can choose to remove cookies for a time range you select.
  • Apple Safari (macOS and iOS): You can manage cookies in Safari via Preferences > Privacy on a Mac, or via Settings > Safari on an iPhone/iPad. For instance, on macOS Safari you have options to "Prevent cross-site tracking" (to block third-party cookies) and "Block all cookies" if desired. On iOS, you can go to Settings, find Safari, and then under Privacy & Security enable "Block All Cookies" to refuse all cookies (not generally recommended, as many sites will not function). You can also tap "Clear History and Website Data" on iOS Safari to delete all cookies and browsing data. For more details, see Apple's user guide or the AllAboutCookies resource on Safari cookie management for step-by-step instructions.

Please note that if you choose to block all cookies at the browser level, our website (like many websites) may not function optimally. At minimum, essential features such as logging in, content editing, or remembering your settings could be impaired. We recommend blocking only third-party cookies if your goal is to increase privacy, or using the cookie preferences on our site to disable specific categories, rather than blocking all cookies outright.

Deleting/Clearing Cookies: You have the freedom at any time to delete cookies that have already been set on your device. Using your browser's options, you can clear cookies for all sites or specific sites. For example, in Chrome you can go to History > Clear browsing data (and include cookies), in Firefox you can go to Privacy & Security > Clear Data…, and in Safari you can use the "Manage Website Data…" option to remove cookies for individual sites. Clearing cookies will log you out of websites and reset preferences, so be aware you will need to log in again to our Service if you remove the essential Clerk cookies.

Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Currently, there is no universal standard for DNT signals. However, we treat DNT or similar signals (like Global Privacy Control) as an indication of your preference for enhanced privacy. While essential cookies will still function (since they are needed), we will not set any analytics or non-essential cookies if we detect a valid DNT or opt-out signal from your browser, to the extent we are able to honor such signals under the law.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technologies, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy. For significant changes, we may also provide a more prominent notice (such as a website banner or a notification as part of the cookie consent mechanism). We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. If you disagree with any updates to this Policy, you may adjust your cookie preferences or discontinue use of our Service. Continued use of our Service after changes to this Policy will be deemed consent to the new terms regarding cookies (to the extent permitted by law).
